GQ interviews Jason Segel and Kermit the Frog:

GQ: Did you consider anyone else for the role of Kermit?

Jason Segel: We didn’t know if we could get him, so our backup plan was Morgan Freeman.

GQ: I only ask because it’s been twelve years since Kermit’s last big-screen movie. People were starting to wonder if he’d had a breakdown.

Kermit: You know, it’s a funny thing. It may have been twelve years in people years, but for frogs that’s only about eight months.

When I imagine growing old, it’s always on a porch chortling my days away with Jason Segel.
